Archaeologist estimates that Hinduism belief begins around 3,000 BCE. Righ Veda which was one of the earliest Hindu scriptures was composed around 3102 BCE. Early Hinduism has inherited Indo-Iranian religion. The Indo-Aryan god has occupied the highest position in Hindusim until the invention of Christianity.
The Golden Age of Hinduism
The Golden Age of Hinduism is between the fourth and sixth centuries during the Gupta dynasty. The impact of Hinduism spread wide and deep not only in India. Other Asian countries have also been explored to Hinduism during this period. Temples and scripture of Hinduism literatures are widely spread. The famous books, Aryabhata and Varahamihira, was written during this period. Gupta dynasty has established strong influence of Hindu beliefs in this period. Strict caste system was also established during this period.
Trading also plays important parts for Hinduism expansion. During 1st century, there are many trade connection and commercial settlements with India and Southeast Asian countires like Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.
